Global Wellness Day At Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok

Joining seven continents and 90 countries around the world in celebrating Global Wellness Day, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok offers special wellness activities on Saturday, 10 June 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., to help raise awareness on living well and increase motivation, not only for the Global Wellness Day, but also for the 364 days to come.

In accordance to this year’s Global Wellness Day slogan, “One Day Can Change Your Whole Life,” guests are invited to pause and reflect on their health and wellness resolutions for a better well-being and lifestyle. All will be inspired by the benefits of proactive wellness and mind-body fitness with fun-filled activities starting from 9 a.m., conducted by experts, such as Morning Yoga, to help increase flexibility and balance, Thai Boxing, the world-famous Thai self-defense sport, and Aqua Aerobic, a low impact and invigorating exercise class.

Scrumptious light and healthy refreshments, including Chocolate Coated Granola Bars; Assorted Low Fat Yoghurt, Whole Wheat Croissant with Orange, Fennel Cured Salmon; Mozzarella, Basil Pesto on Olive Tomato Focaccia; Chilled Lobster and Prawn Wrapped in Crepes Served with Dill Lemon Dressing; Shrimp Cocktail with Honey Melon and Mint; Exotic Fruit Kebabs are served to health-conscious guests as indulging in good food is part of well-being, too.

All guests are welcome to enjoy a revitalised body, a clear mind and a peaceful heart with the Global Wellness Day activities at the hotel’s The Study, level 1.
