Following a soft-launch last month, the Globus family of brands has opened membership to agents across the country, enabling them to earn one point for every dollar’s worth of bookings made with Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms.
The scheme’s first reward points have been allocated to agents this week, the first step towards redeeming points for a huge choice of gift cards and merchandise.
To celebrate the program’s launch, Globus is offering 500 bonus points to each travel agent who renews their membership or signs up toPassport to Rewards. Referring a friend to sign up will earn agents an additional 500 bonus points.
Globus Marketing Manager Australia Adam Mussolum said the response to the new Passport to Rewards had been overwhelming.
“We recorded hundreds of sign-ups within the first hours of issuing initial invitations and the pace has continued strongly ever since,” Mr Mussolum said. “The program has proved popular among travel agents as a simple and effective way to earn rewards and boost the value of their bookings.”
The new Passport to Rewards program allows agents to redeem their points for merchandise from the Passport to Rewards online store, with hundreds of items to choose from including homewares, electronics, kitchen appliances, home entertainment and travel goods.
Points can also be redeemed for gift cards from retail partners including Myer, Bunnings, Coles, Woolworths, Harvey Norman and more.
