As part of its ongoing expansion plans nationwide, award-winning vehicle rental company GO Rentals has announced it is growing in the South Island by opening a new location in the Dunedin Airport terminal.

GO Rentals’ Managing Director, James Dalglish, says the company is continually looking at expansion opportunities across New Zealand.

GO Rentals is growing year on year – we’re committed to being innovative and continuing to expand our offering across the country and opening a new location in Dunedin was a no-brainer for us.   Not only is it a beautiful region with so much to offer including its beautiful architecture and unique wildlife, but business-wise it also makes real sense for us.  The local economy continues to grow year on year, with both tourism numbers and the city’s population on the rise, and we are confident Go Rentals’ business will thrive in the region.

“We offer a much different user experience to our customers than our counterparts – starting from our user friendly mobile app for travellers to customise their experiences, to the partnerships we have with hundreds of tourism operators across the country offering discounted tourism adventures through our GO Play offering, to iconic tourism activities and attractions such as Elm Wildlife, Larnach castle and the Speights Brewery Tour. We’re looking forward to showcasing our award winning customer service experience to Dunedin locals and visitors alike,” he says.

Richard Roberts, Dunedin Airport CEO, says: “We look forward to welcoming Go Rentals to Dunedin Airport and becoming one of our many wonderful Airport partners.  Our rental car providers are an important part of the tourism industry, providing our visitors the chance to experience our wonderful city and lower south region.”

GO Rentals will have a mix of vehicles available that have been selected specifically for the unique  lower South Island market including a selection of premium SUVs and other cars perfect for touring this part of the country and getting about locally.  Seasonal add ons to take in to account seasonal variability will also be on offer, including roof racks, ski chains and accessories for travellers to customise their vehicle for winter season.

The new Dunedin Airport branch is Go Rentals’ sixth location nationwide, with branches also in  Auckland Airport, Auckland CBD, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.

GO Rentals is now taking bookings for vehicle pick up at its Dunedin Airport branch from 1 May 2019.
