Adventure World has released its 2018/19 Exodus Self-Guided Adventures, with 13 new cycling trips giving travellers the chance to explore the UK, Europe and Ireland at their own pace and truly enjoy their surroundings.

Clients will be able to truly immerse themselves in the culture and make their moments matter with these independent journeys, as well as the ease of having their accommodation pre-booked and luggage transfers taken care of. Additionally, Exodus also provides a local representative in 16 European regions, providing support and guidance on their self-guided holiday for a traveller’s peace of mind.

New for 2018, cyclists will have access to the RidewithGPS app, meaning guests can directly download route directions via their phone prior to travelling. Cyclists can listen to the audio instructions en route (similar to a car Sat Nav) and bikes are fitted with a handlebar-mounted phone holder for convenience and to allow for visual alerts to appear.

“Exodus has an excellent reputation for offering some of the best self-guided cycling holidays in Europe, complementing the range of small-group journeys they also offer. There are trips for all types of travellers, and these are perfect for independent travellers who still have the support of locals should they need it,” commented Neil Rodgers, Managing Director Adventure World.

Exodus’ experience in meticulously planned routes follows years of experience of carefully crafting trips. Their itineraries are rigorously tried and tested to ensure they are accurate and up to date – if a footpath has closed or is under construction, Exodus’ guests are ensured their routes have been adapted and updated accordingly.

Included in the 2018 collection are destinations such as Brittany, Lake Garda, Catalunya, Algarve, Gozo, Bavaria, Provence and the Moray Coast, with itineraries for walkers and cyclists of all levels. The most popular trips for 2017 include the seven-day Gastronomic Burgundy Walk, the eight-day Secrets of Sicily Walking, and the eight-day Coastal Croatia – Pula to Porec Cycling.
