GOASEAN’s Multi-platform Travel Content to Showcase at Hong Kong Film and TV Market 2016

“GOASEAN has come a long way in a very short time, and within less than a year in operation, we have gone from completely acquiring all our content to producing and now, distributing our content internationally. By internationalising our content on Southeast Asia to a more global audience, we hope to attract more tourist interest worldwide to our side of the world. GOASEAN has proven itself very quickly to be a fast-expanding channel in its efforts to build interest in Southeast Asia as a major tourism destination. The multi-platform channel has already inked a partnership with Southeast Asia’s Internet TV Service provider called iflix to showcase GOASEAN’s content to over a million subscribers across the region.  A number of leading airlines will also be broadcasting GOASEAN’s flagship show GO TRAVELto potentially millions of passengers via their In-Flight-Entertainment-Systems which include Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, Air Asia X, Bangkok Airways, Oman Air and SILK Air. Apart from that, they have developed their own mobile app GOASEAN and their own travel booking system, Let’s Go Now.

Since its launch in April 2015, GOASEAN has showcased content sourced from all 10 ASEAN member countries through their own original programmes such as GO Travel, The Eco Traveller, Lost at S.E.A, The Halal Foodieand many more. The outstanding and rapidly evolving travel channel has since won multiple awards for its innovative and outstanding website, GOASEAN.com and online platforms since its inception.

This will be the first time GOASEAN is participating in the Hong Kong FILMART, which is a one-stop trading and networking platform for distribution and production of film, TV programmes and entertainment-related products in the Asia-Pacific and one of the world’s most important film markets in the region.

GOASEAN will be at the Malaysia Pavilion at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) held from 14th – 17th March 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai.
