Golden Sands Hotel Apartments sees strong growth from Indian market

Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, part of A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises and pioneered the concept of hotel apartments in the region, witnessed a steady influx of guests from India, reaching 30% of the total guests in 2016.

The property expects to increase the number after its successful participation at SATTE, South Asia’s leading travel show, held in New Delhi, India where the team directly met with travel agents and informed them of Golden Sands Hotel Apartments’ comfortable and convenient accommodation for business and travellers from India.

India has become the number one source market in South Asia for Dubai and the city attracted 1.8 million overnight visitors from India in 2016, a 12% growth over the previous year.

Ahmed added that Indian travellers visit Dubai because of “tax-free shopping, feel of luxury cars, purchase gold and land and the short travel time of about three to five hours.” Golden Sands Hotel Apartments received 30% of its guest from India because of its close proximity to the city’s main attractions, shopping malls and touristic destinations.
