The most delicious and smoky Southern American BBQ flavours are spoiling dads this Father’s Day weekend with the help of Burn City Smokers. Grand Hyatt Melbourne have joined forces with the kings of meat to create mouth-watering offerings to satisfy dad and the whole family, with a choice of Burn City Pop-Up Father’s Day BBQ Lunch or High Tea.

“We’re incredibly excited to work with our new friends Raphael Guthrie and Steve Kimonides, the team behind Burn City Smokers, to create a barbecue inspired Father’s Day menu combining the bold, worldly, extraordinary experience of Grand Hyatt Melbourne with the incredible southern style flavours of Burn City Smokers for the whole family to enjoy,” says Jason Camillo, Grand Hyatt Melbourne’s Executive Chef.

“If you haven’t had the chance to come in and try our Burn City Pop-Up throughout winter, Father’s Day is the perfect time to experience the best of the menu, with a few surprises! One of my favourites is the smoked apple dessert, which we have turned into an edible garden.”

Celebrate all Father’s Day weekend with a Burn City Pop-Up inspired high tea featuring hand-picked smoked meats and a selection of exquisite signature treats or explore the Sunday BBQ lunch buffet filled with Southern American BBQ favourites, eight hour smoked Tasmanian short ribs and 14 hour smoked brisket sliders with home-made sauces, sides of pickles and slaw, as well as deliciously rich and decadent desserts.

For every dad attending Father’s Day BBQ Sunday Lunch, they will receive a Burn City Pop-Up apron and a home-made Burn City Smokers BBQ sauce as a gift from us at Grand Hyatt Melbourne.
