Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Honored with 2016 Gold Key Award

Lake Geneva’s AAA, Four-Diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, owned and operated by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is proud to be a recipient of the Meetings & Conventions (M&C) 2016 Gold Key Award in the Best Hotel/Resort category in the Midwestern region. This accolade recognizes the property as one of the country’s top resorts for meetings and events for the fourth time in five years.

Located in Lake Geneva, Wis., Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is the area’s only AAA Four-Diamond property, and features more than 62,000 square feet of devoted meeting space. On site event planners and visitors will find a variety of amenities and unique seasonal activities, including two championship golf courses – The Brute and The Highlands, award-winning restaurants, an 18-run ski hill, a full-service spa, equestrian trails, and hiking, biking and more at the new Adventure Center.

For over 35 years, M&C’s Gold Key Awards have recognized leading hotels that have excelled in servicing meeting and event professionals, as voted on by the readers of M&C. This year, hotel chains were recognized nationally, while leading hotel properties were recognized in several categories regionally in the U.S. and worldwide.

Readers of M&C voted for the winners of the Gold Key Awards via online ballots and provided feedback based on their professional experiences worldwide for their top hotels, conference centers and CVBs. All winners will be listed in M&C’s annual Gold Awards special issue, in print and online, distributed to 50,000 readers in November 2016. The online version will be posted simultaneously and available for viewing for a full-year online.
