As the only hotel under the Nikko Hotels International brand in Indonesia, Grand Nikko Bali is proud to announce two key appointments this month.
TinaTandun has been appointed as the Director of Sales&Marketing, while Theo Mahendra will be leading the resort’s Food & Beverage Department.
Educated in Les Roches Swiss Hotel Management School, Switzerland followed by experience working overseas, Tina has been able to adapt her skills to suit different environments and cultures. She began her hospitality career on the island with Grand Hyatt Bali and spent almost 15 years working her way up to the position of Director of Sales. She also held a key leadership position at Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua and prior to her appointment, served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Trans Resort Bali. In her new role, Tina will be managing the resort’s current clients, while focusing on developing new markets and business opportunities. She will lead the entire sales and marketing team as well as drive the revenue management, reservations, public relations and e-commerce departments.
Theo will be responsible for overseeing Grand Nikko Bali’s entire Food and Beverage division, which also encompasses the daily operations of the resort’s multiple restaurants plus wedding and MICE activities. His career spans over 15 years of hospitality industry experience and he was part of the pre-opening team of Le Meridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort Bali. Theowasalsothepre opening Food & Beverage Manager at MAIA Luxury Resort & Spa in Seychelles and one of the various GHM Hotel in Bali. He has proven his expertise in Food and Beverage management through a series of important and supporting roles with international hotel chains like Starwood and Hyatt in Thailand, Taipei, Shenzen-China and Macau. Theo’s most recent position was as the Director of Food & Beverage at Anantara Uluwatu.
