Grand Opening of K11 Natural First Art and Nature themed zone in Hong Kong

Celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, K11 has been dedicated to offer more than a wide range of shopping and dining experiences, through innovative blending of the three essential elements of Art • People • Nature in its retail concept. This December, Dr. Adrian Cheng, K11 Founder, has made yet another revolutionary move with his retail team by launching K11 Natural, a brand new zone in the theme of nature and art, the first of its kind in Hong Kong. From conception to tenant mix, K11 Natural aims to revolutionize the norms of retail concept. Spanning nearly 9,000 square feet,K11 Natural features a number of dining and retail brands promoting nature, wellness and craftsmanship, 11 of which are debut shops in Hong Kong.

Dr. Adrian Cheng, Founder of K11, said, “as the world’s first original brand to pioneer the blend of three essential elements of Art • People • Nature, K11 is dedicated to curate Hong Kong’s first mega dining and retail zone in the theme of nature, organic lifestyle and craftsmanship. K11 Natural features the following specialty stores:

–        Simplii Yours ── in collaboration with a professional local coffee roaster team, whose family-run business has operated through three generations for 100 years, Simplii Yours brings customers 100% natural and hand-crafted coffee, freshly roasted in Hong Kong, with no additives and preservatives. They offer 17 coffee blends tailor made for the local market, and personalized coffee blending service for discerning coffee lovers looking for a unique taste.

–        Edgar ── with products originated from France, the boutique grocery store was founded by Hong Kong-based Swiss Raphaël De Ry. Advocating a zero-waste approach, Edgar encourages customers to buy only what they need by offering organic and natural products that are not pre-packed. The shop also encourages customers to bring their own containers for shopping. By cutting down on unnecessary packaging, the prices come down by as much as 25% compared with other organic goods available in the market, staying reasonably priced while making an effort to reduce carbon footprint.

–        Moreganic ── a Swedish green concept that provides a selection of products from KRAV, a well-respected sustainability food label recognized by 98% Swedes. The brand meets a strict requirement to certify as organic, and also stands for animal care, social responsibility and good health. The KRAV-labelled food are produced without any usage of chemical pesticides or artificial fertilizers, protecting the rights of farmers and animals. What’s more, they also offer natural non-alcoholic beverages and child food.

–        Something Wild The Farm ─ an outdoor culture-inspired theme restaurant originated from Hong Kong that embraces outdoor lifestyle, trends and food. Building on the green concept of “farm-to-table”, they offer country-fresh cuisine, gardening and cooking workshops and related products. The restaurant will host workshops to demonstrate ways of cooking with home-grown, freshly-picked veggies and give tips on home farming. Dedicated to local food source, the chefs designed numerous dishes using locally-grown herbs and a selection of sustainable seafood, local organic vegetables, local meat and other seasonal ingredients. To preserve the authentic flavor of the food, dishes are designed with minimal cooking steps. The restaurant also features “Something Wild Market”, a corner managed by farming specialists and chefs where customers can buy potted herbs and experience the joy of urban farming. A variety of homemade sauces, dried fruits and herb-infused olive oil are also available for anyone who wants to bring the farm-to-table experience back home.
