The St. Regis Chengdu, the first St. Regis in Southwest China, is pleased to be the venue host of the upcoming London Luxury.

A uniquely creative collaboration between VisitBritain, British Airways, theLondon Luxury Quarter, and offering just two invitation-only events in China’s key luxury gateway cities of Chengdu and Shanghai, London Luxury. By Appointment, is a three-day interactive showcase of distinct luxury offerings in the Quarter.

On the heels of its opening, The St. Regis Chengdu is emerging as an icon of luxury in the heart of Chengdu, redefining the region’s standards of modern luxury and hospitality. And, similar to London, Chengdu is a hub of commerce and innovation steeped in centuries of history and culture. The rapidly growing city of 14 million people is emerging as Southwest China’s dominant business and leisure destination for discerning international travelers.

London Luxury. By Appointment will be featured in Chengdu and Shanghai, two of China’s gateway cities being served by British Airways. The invitation-only event will showcase the luxury offerings unique to the London Luxury Quarter in the Mayfair area, a collection of elegant shopping streets, luxury retailers, galleries, five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants that make up the world’s most exclusive shopping destination. Stylized exclusively for discerning Chinese patrons, the event showcases the London as the epicentre of distinctive luxury while highlighting British Airways as the premium carrier for the Chinese market into the United Kingdom.

image003From September 24 through September 26, The St. Regis Chengdu’s function spaces will be transformed into an elegant modern experience where during the day, invited guests will enjoy workshops, one-on-one appointments with partner brands, luxury travel buyers and member’s clubs. The evenings will offer special themed cocktail receptions, British chefs and cuisine demonstrations, entertainment and runway shows featuring British designers.
