Growth for TravelManagers Continue with Record Sales and Recruitment Months

TravelManagers is celebrating the start of 2014 as their personal travel managers produce a new high in monthly sales revenue and a record start to the year for recruitment.

IMG_9696Sales for the month of January were 29% higher with February being 11% higher than the respective months in 2013.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2014. Our consistent increase in sales further cements TravelManagers’ standing in the industry and naturally we are seeing more interest from travel agency owners and managers to join our business model,“ says TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal.

Recruitment for new personal travel managers also hit a new high early 2014 with new recruits for January up 120% and 20% on February from the respective same months in 2013. It is however TravelManagers’ cruise business and European touring, that can be attributed for the record sales months.

“TravelManagers make it our business to invest in the talent of our personal travel managers with training, famils, technical support and mentorship, amongst other things. A large appeal of being home-based is that personal travel managers do not waste time travelling to and from work, instead spending more time focussing on their client’s travel arrangements. By eliminating costs and non-revenue producing activities, their income is substantially improved,” says Gazal.

Gazal sees the continued increasing sales results as proof that the TravelManagers’ home-based consulting concept is strong.

“With current industry uncertainly around management styles and traditional business models, it stands to reason TravelManagers has seen an increase in demand from travel consultants and agency managers looking to join the company. An overriding objective of the national partnership office is to create a sense of family and a strong community spirit amongst our personal travel managers. The ability to be your own boss with the freedom and flexibility to work how and when you choose works,” says Gazal.

TravelManagers’ focus on technology also has a large part to play in its continued success.

“TravelManagers technology is second to none and it’s central to everything we do. We provide the personal travel manager with 24/7 access to a fully integrated front, mid and back office system including inventory, booking, ticketing and payment processes. Full systems access along with product and destination information is critical to the personal travel managers’ success and ultimately TravelManagers’ success,” says Gazal.

TravelManagers is well on its way to reaching the 500 personal travel managers milestone.

“TravelManagers is the only truly national mobile travel consultant host agency with licensed offices across all states. This in conjunction with the six locally state based business partnership managers ensure our personal travel managers have access to the broadest and most in-depth support and infrastructure available. Combined it’s our key for success resulting in personal and consistent service delivery from all our personal travel managers across Australia,” says Gazal.
