From swish hotel openings to new culinary, cycling and hiking adventures, there’s something in store for all.

Opening in May, Aloft Perth will be the first hotel to open in Australia under the Aloft brand. Set in The Springs, Perth’s biggest urban renewal project close to the Swan River, the hotel will feature 224 sleek and colourful guestrooms, as well as a fitness centre, swimming pool, a hip restaurant and vibrant public spaces including an outdoor terrace.

On Butterfield & Robinson’s new Tasmania Walking trip, which starts and finishes in Hobart, guests will have plenty of opportunity to sample the local produce, explore the penal history and experience the wildlife on a magnificent four day adventure into the Australian bush. Including a walking journey over beautiful Maria Island, guests will uncover the wilder side of Tasmania whilst also learning about the island’s history.

Adding to Butterfield & Robinson’s portfolio of river cruises, travellers on the Rhône River Cruise Biking will float along the Rhône from Provence to Burgundy aboard Uniworld’s S.S. Catherine, taking in two iconic French regions. Historic riverside cities serve as landmarks between the world-renowned wine regions of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône, while along the way, quiet roads offer easy going pedalling.

Travellers on Butterfield & Robinson’s Tuscany E-biking trip will discover hilltop vineyards, charming villages and lush vistas. They can tap their e-bike at the first hint of fatigue and feel the wheels practically turning themselves. With lush rolling hills, medieval towns and meandering roads keeping it all together, Tuscany is a biker’s idyll.

Slated to open in March 2017, Four Points by Sheraton, Melbourne Docklandsbrings 273 modern guest rooms, as well as dining and bar facilities to an up and coming area of Melbourne. Located on floors 29 to 59, the rooms will boast stunning views of the Shanghai skyline. The new build hotel will offer sophisticated culinary experiences with three restaurants and an alfresco bar, extravagant wellness facilities including a spa, indoor swimming pool and a sprawling fitness centre.
