Gulf Ventures (www.gulfventures.com) has unveiled a new five-night luxury Oman Golf experience for the Australian market featuring the Greg Norman designed Al Mouj golf course.

Represented in Australia by Sydney-based Tourism Portfolio (www.tourismportfolio.com.au), Gulf Ventures has over the past 20 years established itself as one of Arabia’s leading tour operators, with an unrivalled knowledge of the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

The company’s land-only package is priced from US$935 per person twin share, which includes five nights at the five-star Al Bustan Palace, daily buffet breakfasts, private transfers, and 18 holes at the Al Mouj Golf fairways and the Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club.

Opened in December 2011, the Al Mouj is a links style course that runs alongside more than two kilometres of beach. As well as the challenging holes – described by Norman as some of the best he’s ever designed – players enjoy breathtaking views of the Sea of Oman and the Al Hajar Mountains.

Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club was the first 18-hole grassed golf course to be built in the Sultanate of Oman. It offers players lush fairways and greens surrounding by rugged desert terrain, along with a spectacular 400-meter floodlit driving range and tuition services from qualified PGA professionals.
