The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) held a brief ceremony yesterday evening on April 5, 2018 to mark the Phase II completion of the Tumon Bay Street Rehabilitation Project.

The $1.8 million dollar project was fully funded by tourism dollars to finish major repairs to the streetlights in Guam’s tourism capital. All 325 streetlights are now fully operational with more energy efficient LED light fixtures, including the replacement of panel boxes, conduits, and missing poles. GVB contracted Polyphase Inc. and G4S for the project with AmOrient Engineering working as the construction manager.

GVB thanks Governor Calvo, Lt. Governor Tenorio, Senator Rodriguez Jr., the Guam Legislature, Tamuning Mayor’s Office, and the entire community for their support of this rehabilitation project.
