The 2015 World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony was successfully held at the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in El Jadida, Morocco on December 12th. Hainan Airlines stood out among numerous well-known competitors, including both airlines with which it competes in China as well as ones from outside of its home market, to win the World’s Best Business Class and the World’s Best Cabin Service awards.
On the heels of winning the WTA awards for “Asia’s Best Business Class”, “Asia’s Excellent Cabin Service” and “Asia’s Best Business Class Cabin Crew” in October of this year, Hainan Airlines has, this time, again won WTA’s world-class awards.
Song Jianguo, general manager of the marketing department of the Paris office of Hainan Airlines, said at the ceremony, “I’m proud to accept the awards at the 2015 WTA ceremony on behalf of Hainan Airlines. We are very grateful for the support and trust of the judges and travelers. Hainan Airlines has opened routes with comprehensive coverage across China and extending into Asia, North America and Europe, with a young fleet mainly composed of 787s and 330s. Guided by the objective of being a world-class airline distinguished by our own brand of Eastern hospitality and that highlights our Oriental beauty, we will continue to provide passengers with quality services and a great flight experience.”
WTA’s Chris Frost congratulated the airline as it presented the awards: “Hainan Airlines has built a good reputation among passengers for its passenger-focused services, constant innovation and global development. We hope that Hainan Airlines, one of the world’s fastest growing carriers, can continue making outstanding achievements and delivering even better travel experiences to tourists all over the world.”

Hainan Airlines differentiated itself from the other well-known airlines to win the World’s Best Business Class and the World’s Best Cabin Service awards, thanks to its high quality cabin services and years of service innovations.
Launched in 1993, the WTA selects dozens of awards through votes by more than 200,000 professional judges and tourists, including Best Hotel, Best Airline and Best Tourism Firm, among others, across the world’s tourism industry (including the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean region and theMiddle East). The WTA has been described as the “The Oscars of the Travel Industry” by the Wall Street Journal while receipt of one of the awards is regarded as an authoritative recognition of excellence in products and services across the world’s travel and hospitality industries.
Since inception in 1993, Hainan Airlines has, through a proactive and innovative approach, been dedicated to making passengers feel welcome on its airplanes and assuring them the most comfortable travel experience through its high-quality services by adopting the best practices from a long tradition of Oriental hospitality.
