The Berri Riverside Holiday Park is set to welcome visitors throughout the festive season with a new addition to their product offering.

Partnered with local winery Dominic Wines and local food trucks to offer happy hour social camp fire nights for visitors staying at the Park.

Dominic Wines have leased an area of the park to utilise their pop up container bar and offer park goers an area to socialise and try the Riverland wine products, around a casual bonfire environment.

Trialling three dates throughout the holiday period on December 29th, January 3rd and January 6th.

The newly appointed managers, Mark and Merle Venter said that “Happy hours have become somewhat of a ritual for travellers who like to get together and meet other people.”

“It’s great to be able to offer an area to facilitate this relaxed kind of socialisation within the park grounds. We will also have alternating food vans coming in to complement the wine”.

Destination Riverland General Manager, Caroline Phillips said “It’s great to see local operators thinking outside the square and working together to add value to the overall tourism experience.”

“December and January are peak times for tourism in the region and this is a great way to profile our fabulous region” she said.
