unnamed (10)The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust is adding Saturday tours to its popular North Fort tour which currently runs every Sunday at North Head Sanctuary, Manly. The new Saturday tours start on 7 November 2015 and go through until the end of February 2016. On our North Fort tour, you’ll be guided through the fort’s fascinating maze of tunnels, magazine, engine room, pump chambers and gun emplacements and learn how North Fort was integral to Sydney’s defence during World War II.

Our tour also includes the newly-opened Defence of Sydney artillery display, which charts the evolution of the guns used in Sydney Harbour’s defences between 1788 and 1945, and Australia’s Memorial Walk, which honours those who have served and supported the defence of Australia in both peace and war.
