75th anniversary Pearl Harbor commemorations in December
Final preparations are on the way for the 75th anniversary commemoration for the attack on Pearl Harbor, which took place on December 7, 1941 and precipitated America’s entry into World War II. Pearl Harbor is Hawai’i’s number one visitor attraction, and a week-long program of events is planned. It all kicks off onDecember 1, with a free performance by the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific Jazz Combo at Pearl Harbor Visitor Centre in the morning. Princely revamp for Waikiki hotel

The eight-month refurbishment is the hotel’s first major remodel since it opened in 1990.
