Live Fusion Gugak Musical Fanta-Stick, a non-verbal performance, has attracted more than 300,000 audiences since its opening with its unique blend of fusion gugak and percussion. It has been running every day since it premiered in 2009 at Kyunghyang Arthill in Seoul and is today one of the best gugak performances out there.

Fanta-Stick is the performance brings together different performance genres by strengthening the characteristics of non-verbal performances and the unique integration of various traditional and modern forms such as traditional Korean instruments and rhythm, digital rhythm, Samulnori (a traditional Korean percussion quartet), and b-boy.

Last September, Fanta-Stick appeared twice in the popular KBS2 drama, ‘My daughter Seo-Yeong’ to public acclaim. As a result, Fanta-Stick has selected to perform at the world’s longest man-made dyke, the Saemangeum Seawall, located on the southwest coast of the Korean peninsula until August and has also opened an open-run Jeju Fanta-Stick Theater. There will also be an American West tour in September.

Fanta-Stick has also upgraded its official website, now in Korean. English, Chinese, with Japanese coming later this month.
