The heavy snowfalls throughout New South Wales and Victoria have inspired holidaymakers looking for an Australian ski holiday.

Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa general manager Anthony Cleary said he is receiving increased enquiries for both short-stay snow getaways as well as longer winter holidays.

“The resort is currently covered in a blanket of thick snow and the skiing and boarding conditions on both Perisher and Thredbo are excellent,” said Mr Cleary.

“Many people are under the impression that we are fully booked for the winter, but while availability is tight over some weekends, there is still accommodation available with some good value packages on offer, especially for August and September.”

Packages start from $303 per person for a three night stay and include accommodation, daily breakfast and free resort activities including archery, tennis, nine-hole golf course, nine-hold disc golf course, trampolines, bocce, refurbished indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium and fitness track.

Bookings can be made on 1800 020 524 or (02) 6451 3000 or via www.lakecrackenback.com.au.  The full range of winter holiday packages can be viewed at http://www.lakecrackenback.com.au/winter-ski-holiday-packages.
