Helen Wong’s Tours has grabbed pole position in unveiling a four-night sports lover package for the 65th Macau Grand Prix.

The special pack includes A-reserve grandstand tickets to the two days of weekend racing on November 17 and 18, along with return Cathay Pacific airfare from Australia to Hong Kong and Sea Express return high-speed ferry transfer from the airport to Macao.

Guests will stay at the plush new 1390-room and suite MGM Cotai, including breakfast, and will also enjoy a half-day city tour with English-speaking guide.

Price for the Helen Wong’s Tours package begins at $2900 per person, twin share.

For the 65th successive year, the narrow, twisting roads of Macao will be converted into one of the most challenging circuits in the world – the only street circuit to host both car and motorcycle races.

The highlight of the racing weekend is the Macau Formula Three Grand Prix, featuring some of the world’s best drivers, the winner awarded the FIA Formula 3 World Cup. Also held on the weekend is the GT3 motor cycle racing, another FIA World Cup event.

Australians to have challenged the course and beaten the field in the various categories over the 65 years have included Kevin Bartlett, Vern Schuppan and David Brabham.

Among the world’s elite Formula One drivers to have won at Macao have been Riccardo Patrese, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Ralf Schumacher.
