Jetset Travelworld Limited (ASX: JET) announced today a major milestone for helloworld, as the new brand marks the signing of its 100thstore.

Rob Gurney, CEO at Jetset Travelworld Group, says helloworld is ahead of its targets for the first phase of store refits and the consumer launch, with agreements for a further 150 stores underway.

helloworld will create the momentum and inspiration for change in our industry. Today’s milestone is a significant achievement forhelloworld and a signal for the future success of the brand,” says Gurney.

The inaugural agent for the helloworld brand is Helen Goodings, Owner and Manager at Jetset Marion, located in one of the largest shopping centres in Adelaide, who says that joining helloworld is an honour for her team.

helloworld is something that we’ve been excited to be a part of since day one. The strategy and direction behind the new brand will position us in a market leading position. I’m very proud to be the first Branded Agency,” says Goodings.

Following the announcement regarding Phil Hoffmann Travel, a number of leisure and corporate travel agencies across Australia, including Goldman Travel (two locations) and the Read Group (three Harvey World Travel locations), have also become a part ofhelloworld.

Tom Goldman, Executive Chairman at Goldman Travel, says helloworld is one of the most significant developments in the Australian travel industry in the last decade.

“Joining helloworld provides Goldman Travel with access to unprecedented purchasing scale, a wide range of flexible support options and the opportunity to be part of a vast network of like-minded individuals. It’s clearly a change for the better and the growing strength of thehelloworld brand will continue to benefit us in the future,” says Goldman.

Diane Read, Owner of the Read Group, says becoming a Branded helloworld Agent is “a great opportunity” for any travel business.

“With new and exciting innovations set to launch over the coming months, I am honoured to be part of the inaugural helloworld network. I look forward to the change helloworld will drive in the retail travel environment in Australia in the years to come.”
