Helloworld Limited today announces the retirement of David Rivers, Head of Retail Transition.

David joined Harvey World Travel in October, 2000, as Franchise Development Manager. Four years later, David was appointed Company Secretary for the Harvey World Travel Group, where he was tasked with overseeing human resources, legal and internal audit. David then assumed the role of GM for Harvey World Insurance Services, where his responsibility subsequently broadened to cover all Stella retail networks.

In February, 2009, David was appointed Managing Director of Harvey World Travel and for several years was a Member of the Board of Harvey’s Choice Holidays. Following the announcement of Helloworld Limited, David was appointed as Head of Retail Transition.

Rob Gurney, CEO at Helloworld Limited, says David’s constant support and dedication to franchisees and staff have been immensely valued by the Group.

“David’s leadership of the Harvey World Travel brand and franchisees has been exemplary. The wellbeing of the franchisees is always uppermost in David’s mind and he has always displayed a strong passion for the protection and promotion of the network,” says Gurney.

“I wish David all the best in his retirement and I hope he and his family enjoy their new life in Victoria.”
