The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) welcomes helloworld to the distinguished list of sponsors for the 2015 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA).

helloworld has been announced as a Silver Sponsor for the award category Best River Cruise Operator. This is a brand new category which was added to reflect the changing, dynamic nature of the industry.

“There is a myriad of operators offering superb river cruising experience for travellers and it would be remiss of us not to recognise these operators on an evening which celebrates the best of the best in the industry,” said Jayson Westbury, AFTA Chief Executive.

“Cruising as a holiday choice continues to grow in popularity such that for this year’s NTIA we not only introduced this new category, but we also revised the name of two other categories; Best Cruise Ship – Domestic Deployment and Best Cruise Operator – International Deployment, to recognise and reward outstanding operators who specialise in the two different markets,” said Westbury.

helloworld is thrilled to support this new award category, Best River Cruise Operator,” CEO Elizabeth Gaines said.

“Our sponsorship of this award reflects the close relationship we share with AFTA and our commitment to supporting the many important segments which make up the travel industry today. We continue to work with our valued suppliers to deliver cruise product to meet this growing consumer demand,” she added.

“We are very pleased to welcome helloworld to the family of NTIA sponsors,” said Westbury.

NTIA 2015 will be held on Saturday 18th July at the Dockside Pavilion Darling Harbour.
