Helloworld CEO Andrew Burnes said he was delighted with the recognition the Helloworld business received from the industry after it won three awards at the National Tourism Industry Awards in Sydney on Saturday night and Helloworld members won four awards.
Helloworld won awards for:
– Best Travel Agency Group – Helloworld
– Best Non-Branded Travel Agency Group – Helloworld for Business
– Best Wholesaler – Australian Product – Sunlover Holidays
Helloworld member agencies won awards for:
– Best Travel Agency Retail – Multi Location – helloworld Hunter Travel Group / RACT
– Best Travel Agency Manager – Retail Multi Location – Louise Dann, helloworld Hunter Travel Group
– Best Travel Agency Retail – Single Location – Bicton Travel
– Best Travel Consultant Corporate – Sam La Rosa, Show Group Enterprises
Mr Burnes thanked Julie Primmer, Helloworld’s head of Branded Network, David Padman, head of Helloworld for Business, Associates and Affiliates and Lisa Harrison, General Manager of Sunlover Holidays together with their teams for the tireless efforts they put into the business.
Most importantly Mr Burnes acknowledged the achievement as recognition of the tremendous professionalism and dedication of the networks members.
“We have nearly 300 members of our Helloworld branded network in Australia, 73 members of our Helloworld for Business corporate agency network and a thriving Associate network and these awards highlight the efforts of our members right across the country”, said Mr Burnes.
“Our retail network teams at Helloworld, led by Julie Primmer and David Padman, work side by side with our agency members to ensure we deliver on our commercial and service promise to our members and in turn our members deliver to their customers day in day out. It’s a great partnership and I want to congratulate all of our members for being a part of these awards.”
“Can I also congratulate Lisa Harrison, Brooke Worrall and the team at Sunlover Holidays for being awarded Best Wholesaler – Australian Product. We acquired Sunlover from Tourism Queensland over a decade ago and it continues to deliver to our agency partners and supplier partners around the country”, said Mr Burnes.
