Almost 600 helloworld members, suppliers and sponsors shared insights, ideas and vision to harness leadership individually and collectively as a network.

Speakers motivating delegates included one of the most respected figures in Australian sport Paul Roos, CEO of Air New Zealand Christopher Luxon, global training expert and CEO PeopleInProgress Terry Hawkins, CEO of Carnival Australia Ann Sherry AO, Industry Head of Travel of Google Dougal McKenzie, and web celeb Kylie Bartlett.

Executive General Manager of helloworld NZ Simon McKearney says the strong feedback from Owner Managers and suppliers at the Owner Managers Summit validates the power of the helloworld offering and is one of the reasons why he is so excited to join helloworld NZ.

“A huge part of my decision in joining helloworld NZ is the excitement at what  helloworld is already delivering  in the Australian marketplace. Attending the Owner Manager Summit in Wellington provided proof positive of the value and power of the helloworld offering.”

NZ agents were equally impressed by the Owner Manager Summit and expressed their excitement in the launch of thehelloworld brand in New Zealand in 2016.

“To be honest I don’t know where to start with describing how fantastic the helloworld Conference was. It made me realise that we are but a small part of a very large, focused and fun company. The technology developments are so exciting and I can’t wait until we get them here,” says Liz Christiansen – Harvey World Travel Browns Bay.

“Dynamic, refreshing and progressive are just some of the words I can use to describe feelings during and after thehelloworld conference. It was refreshing to hear Andrew Burnes say more than once that we must now focus our energy on the future and growth of helloworld,”  says Gerald Patterson – Harvey World Travel Howick.

“What a great weekend! It was great to listen to the helloworld team with all the new innovations about to take off.  Let the journey begin!!”says Dawson Hardacre – Harvey World Travel Gisborne.

“The helloworld Owners/Managers Conference held in Wellington this weekend, which I was privileged to attend, was simply outstanding. I was greatly inspired and I am so personally excited about the way forward. The professionalism, the customer centric mantra, the huge focus on empowering staff and the very solid financial backing that has now been confirmed is hugely important to our future. The in-house technology that we can take now is well in advance of anything else available in the market and we are quite convinced of this given our own research,” says Paul Borrie – United Travel Lower Hutt.

“I have been blown away this weekend, it has truly been amazing. Words cannot do justice to what I have seen and been part of and I wish I was a genie and could bottle it up and give everybody some to share. The positivity of everybody just had to be seen,” says Lynne Bennett – Harvey World Travel Whangarei.

“It is amazing what you can do when you have greater scale,” says Michael Small – Harvey World Travel Upper Hutt.

“Fantastic atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and information for the future direction of the brand.   I can’t wait for the official launch of helloworld in New Zealand,” Ian Middleton – Harvey World Travel Paraparaumu.

“What an amazing weekend filled with interesting and inspirational guest speakers, who all entertained and inspired us with a similar message of leadership, empowering our team and future proofing our business,” says Bernice Sherry – United Travel Cambridge.

“The helloworld conference in Wellington was a fantastic opportunity. I was extremely impressed with the technology moving forward and this is going to be big. With helloworld to be driven by Andrew Burnes who has significant personal investment in the business, I believe the brand will grow rapidly and already has a great culture for being so young. This is going to be a great journey and I am thrilled to be a part of it,” David Cull – Harvey World Travel Tauranga.

Adrian Turner, Head of Retail for helloworld NZ said “This was an amazing opportunity for our retailers to get an insight into what being part of this great brand means.”

The major conference sponsors are Qantas, Qantas Holiday, viva! Holidays, Ready Rooms, Rail Tickets, The Cruise Team and Air New Zealand.
