Helloworld has been named as one of the world’s most important tour operators and buyers of US travel product at the prestigious Chairman’s Circle Honours during the IPW 2016 in partnership with Brand USA.
The elite awards event in New Orleans honored 50 of the world’s most important tour operators and buyers of the U.S. travel product from 15 different countries. Honorees were nominated by members of the U.S. Travel Association’s Chairman’s Circle level, which includes some of the largest U.S. travel companies and top U.S. destinations.
“Now in its fourth year, the Chairman’s Circle Honors provides a special opportunity to recognize companies that are truly leading the way in driving visitation to the U.S.,” said Roger Dow, president and CEO of U.S. Travel. “These high-performing buyers exemplify the power of travel. With IPW being the event where so much of that business is conducted, it is the perfect occasion to honor and thank them.”
“We are thrilled to jointly honor each of the recognized organizations at such a premier event,” said Chris Thompson, president and CEO of Brand USA. “The honorees represent America’s top travel buyers from around the world who provide critical support for the U.S. travel and tourism industry. As the national marketing entity, Brand USA invites the world to discover America, and we deeply appreciate how the buyers help transform that vision into reality.”
Helloworld Executive Director Cinzia Burnes said the recognition was valued.
“Helloworld is proud to be recognised as a global leader in promoting the US as an important destination. We will continue to work closely with Brand USA and key destination marketing boards to ensure the USA remains a favourite destination for our customers and our agents’ customers.”
