Helloworld Travel agents from around NSW attended VolleyFest at Manly Beach on Sunday to cheer on the Helloworld Travel Volleyroos in the World Beach Tour event, which saw Australia’s Nicole Laird and Becchara Palmer take home gold in the women’s event over the USA in a thrilling point for point match.
Agents and their guests were treated like VIP’s, enjoying all the action from the Helloworld Travel balcony seats in the VIP marquee at the event, with more representatives cheering on from reserved seats in the grandstands.
Manly locals, travellers and volleyball enthusiasts were out in force for the 10-day event on Manly Beach from 1-10 March, which also saw the Helloworld Travel Volleyroos taking home gold in both men’s and womens of the Australian Beach Volleyball Championships. World number seven-ranked combination of Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho Del Solar taking home gold in the women’s, plus Chris McHugh and Zachery Schubert defending the French to take gold in the men’s.
As naming-rights partner of Volleyball Australia and the Volleyroos, Helloworld Travel was on-board supporting the event, giving out much needed caps, travel goodies and a select number of reserved seats to lucky spectators who missed out on seats in the packed grandstands for the finals each weekend.
