Helloworld Travel Limited today announced that its Hotel Program Management business, AOT Hotels, has successfully re-tendered for the Whole of Australian Government (“WoAG”) Accommodation Program Management (“APM”) contract and entered into a new Deed with the Commonwealth for the on-going provision of the APM services.

The AOT Group Limited, which merged with HLO in February, 2016, originally won the inaugural tender for the WoAG APM services in 2012 and commenced providing the services in July, 2012.

The initial contract period was 3 years with two further 1 year extensions. The new contract is also for a period of 3 years with further extension options of up to 3 years subject to satisfactory delivery of the contracted services. It also includes, for the first time, international accommodation requirements as well as domestic requirements.

Rohan Moss, General Manager of AOT Hotels, said “the company was very pleased to be the successful tenderer after the efforts that had gone into the program over the last five years.”

“We have developed a bespoke solution at multiple levels to service the many and varied needs of Commonwealth Government Agencies and Departments over the last five years and we look forward to continuing to provide our services in the years ahead” said Mr Moss.
