An adventurous team of Helloworld Travel agents from South Australia are right now taking part in the Variety Bash in support of children’s charity Variety.

The daring South Australian team is made up of Julie Kite – Owner/Manager of Helloworld Travel Marion and Robyn Buteyn – Owner Helloworld Travel Brighton alongside their crew Lauryn Weatherall – a 22 year veteran of the bash, and Lyn Townsend.

Their car “BB1” departed from the Codan premises at Mawson Lakes this weekend alongside other teams, and will be finishing on 17th August in Murray Bridge, having traversed tracks and countryside that many people would never have the opportunity to experience.

The Bash is not a race or rally, but a madcap event designed to put the fun into fundraising for the kids of South Australia who really need it. Having raised over $22,000 already for the cause, the dynamic duo are making an impact before they hit the road, with donations still flowing in.

Julie and Robyn have been busy in the lead up planning their outfits for the venture, which we believe may have a popular children’s character influence, and preparing their vehicle with giveaways for the kids, including some of the well-known Helloworld Travel Jelly Beans!
