As the launch partner for Adshel’s real-time outdoor ‘Live Screens’, helloworld is strategically amplifying the reach of the pioneering Instagram relay initiative, with travellers’ photographs posted in real time via #helloworldRELAY in the lead up to helloworld’s first Global Sale. These consumer contributed pictures will be broadcast across 270 Live Screens around Australia as well as in Sydney CBD Train Stations.

“This campaign is forecast to reach 4.1 million people showcasing real-time sharing of #helloworldRELAY pictures, and the same number again with our Global Sale promotional messages,” said Kim Portrate, helloworld Head of Marketing.

“#helloworldRELAY will see 60 countries profiled from sunrise to sunset on World Tourism Day (27 September) via Instragram posts, a world first. Our Live Screen launch partnership with Adshel brings the magic of travel, the expertise of our agents, and our Global Sale to life in a technological first and we are thrilled to be the launch partner.”

Consumer reaction to the in-street Live Stream Advertisements since campaign commencement on 21 September has been tremendous, Ms Portrate said.

“We’re already getting amazing reactions from consumers, agents and members who can experience the magic of being transported around the world through the #helloworldRELAY imagery being shared across the Adshel Live Screens and we’re only just beginning this campaign! These are digital screens in bus stops and train stations in front of consumers who are immersed in everyday life and then transported, through the magic of images from around the world posted real time from fabulous destinations. It is a fantastic, new way to inspire, engage and sell travel and promote our helloworld agents!”

“On 27 September, World Tourism Day, the live screens will bring #helloworldRELAY to Australians in real time, driving brand awareness ahead of helloworld’s 7-day Global Sale which then becomes the focus of our marketing activity. These two initiatives reinforce our agents as the Experts in Everywhere to everyone interested in travel.”

The Adshel campaign concludes on 5 October. Track the relay by following @helloworldAU on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, go online at relay.helloworld.com.au  or simply search #helloworldRELAY.
