Hertz Australia has launched SuperCover, an optional product that customers can add to their rentals for extra peace of mind when renting a car at participating Hertz locations.http://www.lagunaphuket.com/events/event.php?event=3

Hertz SuperCover provides customers reassurance that they will have zero excess to pay during their rental in case of damage to or loss of the vehicle (subject to overall terms and conditions). Customers taking SuperCover will also have the added benefits of personal accident and personal effects cover, premium roadside assistance and no extra charges for additional drivers or young drivers (aged 21-24). In the event of an accident, SuperCover also waives the customer’s responsibility for any damage administration charges.

Eoin Macneill, Vice President Asia Pacific, Hertz, said: “We’re delighted to introduce a new product offering in Australia that is tailored to further protecting our customers against unanticipated or unforeseen expenses when travelling on the road.

“At Hertz, we’re continuously looking for new ways to improve and enhance our products and services for our customers and the introduction of SuperCover is just another way we’re redefining the rental experience.

“SuperCover can be purchased at time of booking through our website, at the rental counter or through our reservation centre, resulting in convenience for our customers.”

SuperCover excludes fuel, road tolls and associated administration fees as well as any driving infringements. SuperCover is available at selected Hertz locations across the country.
