Today, Jetset Travelworld Group (JTG) announces key speakers and major highlights for the upcoming 2013 Frontliners Consultant Conference (6-8 December).

Taking the theme of Inspiration, Transformation, Celebration, the first ever united conference for travel consultants across the entire Group will take place at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Kicking off with a Welcome Cocktail Party at Jupiter’s Hotel & Casino Poolside on 6 December, the conference is set to provide consultants with the opportunity to network with hundreds of their colleagues from all of JTG’s retail brands.  This landmark conference marks the first time that consultants across the network will unite as one, making this one of the largest events in JTG’s history.

This year’s theme of Inspiration, Transformation and Celebration, will be carried throughout the conference, including two days of workshops, presentations and networking opportunities, concluding with the Christmas themed Gala Dinner on 8 December.

Over the course of the conference, guests will see presentations from a range of truly innovative speakers.

  • Steve Jacobs from Channel 9’s Today Show will host this year’s conference and glamorous Gala dinner, providing his own fun insights throughout the weekend.
  • Rob Lilwall is a British-born, Hong Kong-based TV presenter and adventurer who will draw on his experiences on walking and cycling around the world to reveal how everyone can survive and thrive outside their comfort zone.
  • Sam Cawthorn is an entrepreneur, futurist, and a Young Australian of the Year who will reveal how to tap into the power of positive thinking to build success and improve resilience.

Other key highlights include: updates from Julie Primmer, Head of Branded Network and David Padman, Head of Associate Networks, presentations from Preferred Partners, interactive cruise workshops catering for all levels of expertise, a “round the world” event at the tradeshow session offering consultants the opportunity to learn and win prizes, participation in an interactive session with a comic hypnotist and entry into Warner Bros. Movie World for drinks, dinner, rides, dancing and more!

Rob Gurney, CEO at JTG, says the event will provide consultants with the best opportunity to network in its history, due to the scale of the event.

“This conference will be bigger and better than ever before. JTG has assembled an incredible range of activities to help consultants share, learn and be inspired. The combined conference is the first in what will become one of the biggest events in the travel industry calendar. For our consultants, this is a fantastic opportunity, not to be missed,” says Gurney.

Over 495 consultants have already confirmed their attendance at the conference, with more signing up daily. To avoid missing out, managers are urged to register consultants before the 25 October cut-off to automatically go into the draw to win $2000 worth of Qantas Ticket Funds.
