This is the second year of the initiative, which shines a spotlight on the travel industry’s most inspiring young people who have made an outstanding contribution to their business.

The competition for the initiative was extremely fierce, with young people from across the travel industry coming forward, and a panel of distinguished judges met recently to decide the make-up of the final group.

Paul Middleton, sales manager, Hilton London Canary Wharf, commented, “It was an honour to be nominated for Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders and even more so to be selected as one of the 30 finalists. The initiative is a great opportunity to celebrate best practice and, as a hotel, we are proud to represent Hilton Worldwide as a leading brand within the travel industry.”

Oliver Stockland, area general manager for Hilton Worldwide, added, “Paul is an excellent team player and an asset to Hilton London Canary Wharf. I’m delighted that he has been recognised in this way and am sure he will make an excellent contribution to the Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders scheme.”

Daniel Pearce, brand director, TTG Media, commented, “There are countless networking events in travel but there aren’t many opportunities for the younger stars of the business to meet, to network and to be inspired by some of travel’s leaders. Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders not only celebrates these individuals but also gives them a real opportunity to learn from some of the most senior people in the industry as well as each other. I’d personally like to congratulate Paul Middleton on making it to the final 30.”

Hilton London Canary Wharf offers stylish accommodation in the heart of Canary Wharf, with quick links to East London’s famous attractions including the Olympic Park, Cutty Sark, Greenwich Royal Observatory and The Emirates Air Line cable car. In 2013, TripAdvisor gave the hotel a Certificate of Excellence Award for providing guests with a consistently exceptional experience.
