Hilton Miami Downtown Completes $35M Renovation

Following the completion of a $35 million property-wide renovation, Hilton Miami Downtown by Resort World Miami invites leisure travelers and groups to enjoy a Downtown Miami escape just steps from the city’s best cultural, shopping, dining and entertainment experiences!Located on the site of the former Omni International Mall, which included the mammoth shopping complex, movie theater and hotel, Hilton Miami Downtown brings high-style, service, and value to Miami’s Performing Arts District with its re-imagined guest rooms, meeting space, restaurant and lobby. Meanwhile, elements from the original development such as its expansive loading dock and parking facilities provide guests, conference organizers, weddings and social event planners with features no other hotel in Miami can offer.


Now revamped and re-imagined by HBA Atlanta (Hirsch Bedner Associates) with a sleek, urban aesthetic that includes an emphasis on technology, contemporary fashion and art influences, Hilton Miami Downtown is a focal point as downtown’s revitalization continues, appealing to a new, discerning guest while offering visitors a desirable option with all the Hilton brand hallmarks.

What’s New?

  • Guest Rooms – 527 guest rooms, including 37 suites and four Presidential Suites – all updated with a stylish new design, warm colors and contemporary lines, plus the signature Hilton Serenity Bed with down duvet and rich linens, and floor-to-ceiling windows revealing stunning views of the Miami skyline
  • Meeting Space – 45,000+ sq. feet of flexible meeting space, tastefully re-designed and offering all the service and ambiance to create a flawless event for up to 2,000 guests. Hilton Miami Downtown’s 19 spacious meeting rooms include five boardrooms; one of Downtown Miami’s largest ballrooms (17,000 sq. feet); a 2,500-space indoor parking lot; and a football-field sized loading dock that can load automobiles, staging and other large equipment directly into the ballroom with ease
  • Dining – also renovated and re-designed was the hotel’s breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant, Brisa Bistro, a fusion experience led by the property’s new Executive Chef, Didier Pouzier, that combines Caribbean, South American and European cuisine representing Miami’s rich cross-section of cultures
  • Club Level – atop the hotel’s 16th floor featuring panoramic views of Downtown Miami, is the Club Level Lounge, featuring a new crisp, contemporary style and relaxed atmosphere, and serving breakfast bites and afternoon bites to Club level guests
