Hilton Worldwide highlights a snapshot of new properties and renovated hotels across the U.S.
With the 2016 Presidential campaign and the race to the White House heating up, the new Hilton Cleveland Downtown will play host to the Republican National Convention this July. Set to open in June, this spectacular 32-story hotel will offer 600 guest rooms (including 37 suites) with incredible views of Lake Erie and the city skyline, Bar32 on the 32nd floor overlooking the lake, indoor pool, fitness center with lakefront view, The Burnham, a three-level restaurant showcasing the eclectic cuisine of Zack Bruell, one of the city’s foremost restauranteurs, Eliot’s Lobby Bar, and underground links to the 225,000 square foot Cleveland Convention Center.

The new Conrad Chicago is located in the former DraftFCB headquarters building, which is now being converted into the hotel from floors 8-20. Designed by the world-renowned designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, the 20-story luxury hotel will offer 287 rooms with stunning unobstructed views from all sides of its property including the Magnificent Mile. Guests can expect a contemporary, tech-savvy service culture; the lobby will be located in a two-story atrium on the 19th and 20th floors; 3 Restaurant Concepts with partnership with Chef Richard Sandoval, including a rooftop restaurant and bar on the 21st floor; and 10,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting facilities and event spaces, including spacious foyer areas. The hotel is expected to open in July 2016.
Waldorf Astoria Chicago, the stunning hotel in the heart of Chicago and voted the Number One U.S. hotel by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler is currently undergoing a property enhancement. Phase One includes the addition of 26 guestrooms and additional meeting space on the hotels third floor. Phase One is expected to be completed early summer.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort recently hosted a dedication ceremony for its new History Wall. A project several years in the making, the new exhibit features over a century of snapshots, stories and insights spanning 80 feet of vibrant displays in the resort’s Tapa Tower. The project pays homage to the legacy of the many figures that have made Hawaii, Waikiki and Hilton Hawaiian Village what it is today. From a distance, visitors get a macro view of the amazing transformations of Hawai’i and the Hilton Hawaiian Village. DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans has begun a property-wide renovation of the 367-room hotel centrally located in the heart of New Orleans, near the French Quarter, Jackson Square and Mississippi River. Launched in May 2016, the estimated $20 million transformation will include a complete makeover of all guest rooms, extensive enhancement of guest arrival experience, a revitalization of all corridors, meeting space and public areas as well as the redesign of the hotel’s lobby and front desk.
