To fulfil every wanderlust, HK Express is offering prizes valued more than HK$1 million to the Hong Kong public. Participants would stand a chance to win the coolest prizes imaginable in the most literal sense with a FREEzing Ticket giveaway on the streets of Causeway Bay! On 31 May 2015, the largest outdoor ice billboard (1.7m Height x 6m Width) in Hong Kong will be erected outside the World Trade Centre, with only the most enticing prizes buried deep inside the ice blocks up for grabs. During every pre-assigned 7-minute round, 10 participants will be given tools at random to help them crack or melt the ice blocks in order to retrieve their most desired prize before the next round of lucky participants try their luck at the ice blocks. Prizes include:
- 10 pairs of round trip tickets to any destination on HK Express’ route map;
- 120 sets of round trip tickets to designated destinations of HK Express;
- 10 sets of HK$1,000 flight vouchers;
- 10 sets of HK$500 flight vouchers; and
- HK Express branded merchandise.
All pre-registration spots have been filled, so be spontaneous and simply walk in to secure the remaining limited spots on the day.
What’s more, to counter the summer heat, HK Express will be giving out a choice of four different flavours of the thirst-quenching FUZE TEA for free during the ice-digging challenge! Simply take a photo with the mega photo props at the event and upload it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #hkexpress.
To meet the summer demand, HK Express is boosting its flight frequency to popular vacation sensations. These include seven additional weekly flights to Osaka Kansai and three additional weekly flights to Tokyo-Narita from June 2015, bringing the number of weekly flights to Japan to 59. The airline is also offering an additional flight to Seoul Incheon from June 2015.
The HK Express route map has continued to expand, serving 19 stations across North Asia, Greater China and South-East Asia. Recent additions include Da Nang in Vietnam, Yinchuan and Lanzhou in China, Jeju in South Korea and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
HK Express is currently on the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registry until 23 June 2016.
