HKTB and Flight Centre partner on Hong Kong Summer Fun campaign

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), in partnership with Flight Centre, has launched its 2015 Hong Kong Summer Fun campaign in Australia.

The campaign will run throughout April and May with packages being offered for travel to Hong Kong from May, ensuring travellers can enjoy Hong Kong’s summer events, including the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival from July 3 – 5 and the summer sales.

A key element of the Summer Fun campaign is the #MyHiddenHK consumer competition offering two Hong Kong holidays, including flights and accommodation.  The competition asks consumers to describe the hidden part of Hong Kong they wish to discover and why and is open until April 30.  Australian residents can enter at www.myhiddenhk.com.au and the site offers four entry points:

–          Visit the competition website and upload your own Hong Kong travel photo;

–          Visit the competition website and choose one of HKTB’s images;

–          Post your Hong Kong photo on HKTB’s AUS Facebook page – www.facebook.com/discoverhongkong.au – with #MyHiddenHK

–          Post your Hong Kong photo on your own Twitter or Instagram with #MyHiddenHK.

The competition will allow two prize-winners to travel to Hong Kong with a friend and includes return flights with Qantas Airways, five nights’ accommodation, airport transfers and a Hong Kong Island tour, as well as, an exclusive half day experience with Hong Kong-based Australian expat, style and travel blogger Geneva Vanderzeil from A Pair and a Spare.

To support the Summer Fun campaign the HKTB is working with Geneva Vanderzeil to share her favourite and hidden travel tips on Hong Kong.  These will be available on her blog and social media assets over the coming months and Geneva has shared her first guide on Hong Kong eating and drinking:
