InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) and owners, Pro-invest have released new renders of the soon-to-be completed Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central, opening in April. This will be the second Holiday Inn Express® in Australia; part of a portfolio of 15 hotels being developed in Australia and New Zealand between IHG and Pro-invest.

Having reached the development’s practical completion, finishing touches are now being made to the hotel interiors and Great Room, set to be an ideal location for meetings, cocktail parties and networking sessions for the Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central local community.

A sunken lounge area with expansive windows opening onto the bright street front will accommodate up to 50 for stand-up functions. In addition, a 14-seat, spacious boardroom will provide a stylish, efficient venue for meetings in the area.

Michael Foster, Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central Hotel Manager said, “It’s great to be this close to the final completion of what has been a highly successful development. Partnering closely with IHG along the journey has made this a seamless process, and the support from Brisbane City Council has also proven significant.

“The opening of Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central is an important part of the greater plan to drive Brisbane towards its 2025 goals. We will offer not only a great accommodation option for visitors to the city, but also an attractive new meeting place for local businesses, and a new range of employment opportunities for the community.”

Providing ‘everything guests need and nothing they don’t’, Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central will offer guests a smart and convenient stay which includes:

  • Free and fast Wi-Fi available in guest rooms and throughout the hotel so they stay connected all day, every day
  • Free Express Start™ Breakfast or a Grab & Go option for a smart start to the day
  • A comfortable and restful sleep with high quality bedding and choice of firm or soft pillows
  • Self-service business centre and laundry room for their everyday needs
  • Access to the fitness centre to ensure their fitness regime is not interrupted

IHG currently has 26 hotels operating under four brands in Australia: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

There are currently over 2,400 Holiday Inn Express hotels (more than 241,100 rooms) open across the globe.
