The hotel is a convenient choice for families looking to keep active on holiday, with easy access to The Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski fields. The fully-furnished deck with BBQ facilities and tennis court are ideal for families wanting to spend quality time together. Families can also take advantage of the Holiday Inn signature ‘Kids Eat & Stay Free’ programme, providing young travellers with all-inclusive meals during their stay, including dishes from the new and improved nutritious Kids Menu developed in partnership with Nutrition Australia.

For business travellers, the hotel is located in the Queenstown CBD, with beautiful views over the Frankton Arm inlet of Lake Wakatipu, making it a convenient choice for guests to experience all this great city has to offer during their stay.

The current multi-million dollar refurbishment will see an upgrade to all 75 rooms with potential for an additional 50 rooms to be added in 2017. Other amenities include a fully-furnished deck with BBQ facilities; a bar and restaurant with lake and mountain views; tennis courts and a sauna.

Karin Sheppard, COO Australasia & Japan, IHG said: “We are excited to welcome Holiday Inn Queenstown Frankton Road to the Holiday Inn brand family. At Holiday Inn, we want to help our guests to do more of what they love when they travel, and that’s just what this hotel will enable. We are enormously proud to offer guests a comfortable and convenient stay during their time in one of New Zealand’s most-loved destinations.”

Holiday Inn Queenstown Frankton Road opens under franchise agreement in partnership with USAR Queenstown Limited, and is backed by well-known New Zealand hoteliers, the Sarin family.
