Holidaymakers given more choice with new Top Parks Guide

A ‘must have’ new and innovative free travel guide has been released by Australia’s largest group of independent holiday parks – Top Parks.

Travellers including families and grey nomads, now have access to the latest edition of the nation’s leading annual Park Guide, covering over 200 parks and offering the largest number of pet-friendly cabins and sites than any other group.

Top Parks Chief Executive Officer Stuart Livingstone says the Guide is compact enough to keep in your vehicle’s glove box and provides travellers with details on where the best holiday parks are located in Australia.

“The Guide is user-friendly and has Top Parks’ locations in all states including the best food, wine and coastal regions, park maps, facilities, pricing and booking information.

“It’s our biggest Guide yet, as more and more parks move across to Top Parks, with many joining the group as opposed to becoming aligned with a franchise.”

Top Parks offers quality branding through an independent membership based business model covering three styles of parks – Top Caravan, Holiday and Resort Parks.

“We can keep membership fees and nightly rates competitive at Top Parks because fees aren’t going to a big, centralised management group.

“There’s a holiday to suit everyone’s budget in the Guide and the icons we’ve included help to identify which Top Parks are pet-friendly, have swimming pools, cabins, children’s playgrounds, powered sites and camp kitchens.”

More and more people are holidaying at parks, with overnight stays in cabins and villas becoming increasingly popular. Top Parks has also increased its offering of pet-friendly cabins due to high consumer demand.

Australia’s caravan and camping industry contributed to $8.6 billion of visitor expenditure to the economy last year. Nationwide, more than 600,000 recreational vehicles are registered.

The 2017 Top Parks Guide is now available at more than 200 Top Parks Australia-wide, to new and existing membership cardholders and at national caravan and camping shows.

In addition, the Guide highlights how Top Parks members can travel internationally and make savings, by using their cards at over 40 Kiwi Holiday Parks in New Zealand.

Top Parks has also launched its new mobile-friendly website, giving holidaymakers an easier way to secure a booking and connect with a Top Park. Visit www.topparks.com.au for more information.
