Home Valley Station, a unique working cattle station in Western Australia’s East Kimberley, has opened the 2014 season with the launch of a Full Day Horseback Adventure and Boat Fishing & Croc Spotting Safari in addition to the already popular suite of tours and activities.
For the wild at heart, the Full Day Horseback Adventure will take guests along trails including savannah plains, rocky ridgelines and pristine river banks – retracing the original stock route of the 1800’s.

For those looking to reel in the elusive Barramundi, the new Boat Fishing & Croc Spotting Safari is an intimate guided experience providing everything to increase one’s chances of catching a ‘Big Barra’ and spotting resident saltwater crocs.

Voyages’ Executive General Manager Sales Marketing and Distribution Ray Stone says, “We are thrilled to coincide the launch of the 2014 season with two new exciting tours which will further enhance the guest experience at Home Valley Station. Together with the Kimberley’s most breathtaking gorges and natural waterholes, there has never been a better time to enjoy the quintessential outback experience.”

“Furthermore, Virgin Australia now fly direct from Perth to Kununurra, four times per week, improving access to the region,” said Ray.

Other tours and activities on offer at Home Valley Station include informative guided tours, scenic and fishing helicopter flights, self-paced walking trails and nightly live entertainment at the iconic Dusty Bar & Grill.

With a wide range of accommodation options designed to meet the needs and budgets of travellers, Home Valley Station offers guests the opportunity to experience a working cattle station. Accommodation includes the premium level Grass Castles, the Homestead Guesthouse Rooms and Eco Tents which are a safari-style tented cabin.

Home Valley Station operates during the dry season between 1 May through to 31 October, annually.
