Heritage cattle station, Home Valley Station in Western Australia’s spectacular East Kimberley, will be welcoming guests from 29 April 2016 following its annual hiatus over the wet season.
To celebrate the re-opening, a two night Outback package* is on offer, with prices starting from $210 per person, twin share.
Home Valley Station offers an authentic outback experience where guests can immerse themselves in genuine Australian hospitality while discovering the unique landscapes of the Kimberley. Located on the iconic Gibb River Road, at the foot of the majestic Cockburn Range, the historic station is the ideal base from which to explore the pristine wilderness. Guests can try their hand at a range of adventurous activities including hiking, swimming in pools surrounded by ancient red gorges, heli-fishing, horse riding, boating, star gazing, nature and crocodile spotting and barramundi fishing on the Pentecost River.
“We are delighted to be welcoming guests once more for Home Valley Station’s 2016 season. This quintessentially Australian outback experience offers warm hospitality amongst the Kimberley’s breathtaking landscapes and there has never been a better time to visit,” says Andrew Williams, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Outback package includes two nights’ twin share accommodation in a Guesthouse Room, daily buffet breakfast, access to walking trails and entertainment at Dusty Bar & Grill.
Home Valley Station offers a range of accommodation options for travellers – from comfortable Guesthouse Rooms and quaint Grass Castles overlooking Bindoola Creek to Eco Tents and camping facilities.
