Hong Kong’s Best Brunch Just Got Better! ZUMA launches an exclusive Cristal Brunch and brand new Brunch format
ZUMA Hong Kong announced today an exclusive partnership with the largest family-owned Champagne house Louis Roederer that will bring the ultimate ZUMA cuisine and Champagne experience to Hong Kong, and will see one of the city’s finest restaurants once again raising the bar for Hong Kong’s weekend dining experience.
As ever great creations begin with great quality products and the story of ZUMA’s partnership with Louis Roederer begins with the journey of Zuma Sommelier Juwan Kim and Executive Chef Samuel Wilkes to Champagne to discover the ideal match for the ZUMA cuisine. Quality and consistency are at the heart of each brand and the natural synergy between the champagnes being produced by the exclusive and biodynamic old vines of the Louis Roederer house and ZUMA’s full-flavoured cuisine have inspired two new Brunch packages that are set to transform the ZUMA Brunch experience.
An exclusive and limited edition Cristal Brunch will be available to guests from Saturday 5 November for HKD1,888 with free flow Louis Roederer Cristal 2009, Louis Roederer’s premium champagne, that is premiering exclusively in Asia at ZUMA! Exhibiting well-rounded acid and precision, it is the perfect balance to ZUMA’s full-flavored cuisine and will be served with a specially grafted menu exclusive to the Cristal Brunch that sees Chef Sam exhibiting the flare that won him a position in the San Pellegrino’s Top 100 World’s Best Restaurants list two years in a row whilst Executive Chef of ZUMA’s UAE Restaurants. The menu will include high-grade Beluga caviar, A5 grade Wagyu beef, Roasted Lobster with Shiso butter and Ponzu, and a white chocolate fondant with certified Alba white truffle.
Guests will also be able to opt for a Brut Champagne package for HKD650 that will serve free flow Louis Roederer Brut PremierChampagne and ZUMA’s trademark craft cocktails with a new Brunch menu which will be constantly updated to include new dishes from Chef Sam’s evolving seasonal menu. The new Brunch menu will include some of ZUMA’s finest signature dishes with spicy beef tenderloin marinated in sesame, red chili and sweet soy, miso marinated black cod wrapped in hoba leaf, Hokkaido scallops served in umeboshi butter and mentaiko, grilled baby pork ribs with spicy master stock and cashew nuts, spiced lamb cutlets with hatcho miso and Japanese eggplant with miso and chili among the stand out options.
At the same time radically overhauling their weekend Brunch format ZUMA’s team are doing away with their timing structure and will welcome guests to book two hour table sittings anytime between 11.00am and 3.00pm, enabling more flexibility and a higher level of client service akin to their weekday a la carte lunch service. Commencing on the
5 November 2016 the new Brunch format and menu will be paired by a more sophisticated ambience with a smart casual dress code introduced. The regular Brunch package prices will still be available, HKD490 and HKD590 to include beer, wines, sake and ice teas, but guests will enjoy the new food menu.
