208 Duecento Otto’s festive specials make it a hopping destination for a truly Italian Easter Brunch.  For parents, the Bambino Playroom takes the work out of the holiday, allowing time to relax and unwind over a leisurely brunch whilst the children are entertained and can munch on their complimentary Easter Egg treats.

208 is serving brunch daily over the long weekend, from 12pm to 2:30pm on 18, 19 and 21 April, and from 11am to 3pm on 20 April.

Whether dining at the buzzy bar downstairs or upstairs in the intimate restaurant, Chef Alan’s rustic Spring additions to the brunch menu are not to be missed. Specials include Insalata di Frutti di Mare con Bruschetta ai Pomodori Secchi(King prawns, halibut, quid, shellfish and sun-dried tomato bruschetta $138)Gnocchi con Ragu di Maiale e Salsicce e Ricotta Fresca (Pork neck, Italian sausage ragu and fresh ricotta $168), Salmon Selvatico dell Alaska, Ravioli all’Inchiostro con Granseola e Punte di Asparagi (Seared sockeye salmon, asparagus, squid ink, crab ravioli $258)and Agnello Arrosto dei Pirenei con Patate al Forno (Roast Pyrenean leg of lamb, oven-baked potatoes and minted carrots $278). For the perfect ending to an Italian Easter brunch, try the Pastiera Napoletana con Insalata di Fragole(Traditional Neopolitan ricotta tart $88).

Regular brunch favourites continue, featuring a variety of authentic Italian pizza, pasta and egg dishes including Eggs Royal (poached eggs, Scottish smoked salmon, hollandaise on toasted focaccia $138)208 Boston Lobster Fettuccine(fettuccine, lobster bisque and aromatic herbs $208) and The Breakfast Bomba (mozzarella, baked eggs, cured bacon, cherry tomato and fresh basil $178).

In addition to a colorful Easter Egg treat, little ones can snack on complimentary treats and beverages in the playroomwhere games and movies will keep them entertained, or if they’re in the mood for something a little more filling, they can choose from bambino dishes including Baby cakes (Pancakes wrapped around banana and peanut butter $48)The Happy Pizza (Fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella with a sausage smile $78) and Egg in a hole (French toasted $58).
