Quest Bundoora officially opens with the help of some home grown heroes
The new Quest Bundoora was officially opened last night, with the help of football greats Anthony Koutoufides, Anthony Rocca, Simon Prestigiacomo and Greg Williams.
The Hon Craig Ondarchie, State Member for the Northern Metropolitan region and Cr Stevan Kozmevski, Mayor of the City of
Whittlesea declared the property officially open, cutting the ribbon with Quest Bundoora franchisees Ky and Mark O’Shea.
Ky and Mark were thrilled with the attendance and the support to date for their decision to build the Quest business in the rapidly growing northern corridor.
“We knew there was the demand for quality extended stay accommodation in the area, and are delighted that our research and instincts are being so warmly received. Already, we are seeing our bookings service the likes of La Trobe University, RMIT and residents of the North’s ever
expanding industrial hub,” said Mrs O’Shea.
“We are looking forward to building on this, working closely with local businesses; for instance, cafes and restaurants and the broader tourism drawcards of the area, such as the boutique wineries to our north. Working together is of mutual benefit, with our guests basing themselves locally, the majority for extended periods, it gives us an opportunity to showcase the best of what Bundoora and our surrounding region has to offer” Mr O’Shea added.
The Hon Craig Ondarchie MP and Cr Kozmevski both applauded the development as being crucial to servicing the increased demand for quality extended stay accommodation in the north and the University Hill area.
The evening also marked the beginning of a long-term relationship between Quest Bundoora and local charity Youth Foundation 3081, with the presentation of an initial $2,000 donation on the night. Quest has an ongoing commitment to local communities across the network, and YF3081 are instrumental, creating opportunities for local youth to develop life skills by aligning them with experienced facilitators who they can learn from.
The $15million property is located at 40 Janefield Drive Bundoora, offering 71 studio, one, two and three bedroom serviced apartments. Each apartment is fully equipped with a kitchen, laundry, Foxtel, LCD TV and WIFI.
Guests have access to conference facilities and Quest services such as pantry shopping, dry cleaning, BBQ area, restaurant charge-back, baby-sitting booking and business administration.
