Stop-sell looming for Evason Phuket & Bon Island Thailand
Evason Phuket & Bon Island Thailand, an idyllic resort set on 26 hectares of landscaped tropical parklands and gardens, is apparently facing changes in the immediate future.
Six Senses Resorts & Spas run the resort. Advice is now going out that the resort needs to be emptied no later than 17 May 2012 with an immediate stop sell for all room categories from 14 May 2012 onward with an unlimited end “in order to avoid further bookings coming in”.
Management has acknowledged that the move might create challenges “but the short deadlines were insisted by the new owner and mandatory to get the purchase of the resort agreed”.
Agents have been assured that all bookings which need to be displaced will be in a resort of similar or higher standard as Evason Phuket & Bon Island on Phuket Island and all displacement cost will be covered.
