Hotel Data Conference sold out for fourth year in a row

The 2017 Hotel Data Conference, presented byRainmaker, has reached capacity level with a conference-record 623 registered attendees. HDC has now sold out for four years in a row. http://www.tourismlegal.com.au/

Co-hosted by STR and Hotel News Now for the ninth consecutive year, the conference will run August 9-11 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

“Our goal for the Hotel Data Conference is to always provide thought-provoking and educational content that is appealing to many facets of the hotel industry,” said Jeff Higley, VP of digital media & communications for STR and editorial director for Hotel News Now. “HDC’s content goes beyond the data to provide insightful analysis by some of the industry’s brightest minds. This approach contributes to the diverse demographics of our attendees, which is definitely a key reason why the conference has reached capacity attendance for four consecutive years.”

This year’s HDC event will feature 125 speakers across multiple sessions and formats. Among those speakers is Frits van Paasschen, author of “The Disruptors’ Feast” and former CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, who will deliver the keynote address during theFriday morning general session.

Featured panelists and presenters during general sessions include: Lucas Cobb, VP, integrated planning for MMGY Global; Peter Coles, Airbnb’s head economist; Bill Duncan, global head of Hilton’s All Suites brand; Amanda Hite, president and CEO of STR; David Kong, president and CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts; Elizabeth Randall-Winkle, CSO for STR; Adam Sacks, founder and president of Tourism Economics; Mitesh Shah, CEO and senior managing principal of the Nobel Investment Group; Suril Shah, managing director, acquisitions and asset management for the Starwood Capital Group; and Mark Woodworth, senior managing director of CBRE Hotels’ Americas Research.
