Spread the love

Hotel Kurrajong Canberra is teaming up with OZHarvest to raise awareness about food waste and valuable funds for Australia’s leading food rescue organisations in the charity event of the Autumn social season.

OZHarvest has a big reputation for supporting more than 1300 charities across the country by collecting and distributing excess food from commercial outlets. In celebration of 10 years in Canberra, OZHarvest will join Hotel Kurrajong in a night of food, fundraising and song in the grounds of the historic hotel, with 50% of all ticket sales donated back to the charity.

Hotel Kurrajong’s Executive Head Chef Saju Rajappan will man live cooking stations serving up Pumpkin and sage risotto out of a Parmesan wheel as well as red wine-braised Wagyu beef cheek.

Hotel Kurrajong General Manager, Emma Waterman, said her team was proud to support OZHarvest and ten years of good deeds in the Canberra region and urged locals to buy a ticket and keep the charitable work flowing.
